Milly Tseng is mainly a self-taught artist. Her art reflects her love for nature and everyday life. Her aim is to nourish her artistic aptitude and create for the love of creating.
The mediums she uses are oil, acrylic, and water color. She also enjoys drawing and sketching with graphite and color pencils.
Her subject matter ranges from landscape, flora and fauna, still life to abstract. Beside painting in her studio in Norval, she spends time painting ‘en plein air’ with her artist friends.
She has taken part in multiple juried shows in Ontario including Society of Canadian Artists (SCA), Buckhorn Fine Art Festival, Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM), Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre (JCHAC), Helson Gallery, Brampton City Hall, to name a few. Her painting was also selected for an online show in Lucknow, India.
She had her first solo exhibition in 2020.
In May 2023 she was the featured artist for the Mayor’s showcase in Georgetown Town Hall, ON.
She is the Orangeville Art Group (OAG) current Membership coordinator and the current President of the Credit Valley Artisans (CVA).
